Students embark on a musical journey across the colourful continent of Africa- through discussion, rhythm and dance. Our unique programme has strong interdisciplinary aspects and is a great way to encourage multiculturalism and integration. Choose from just a drum workshop to our full programme that includes drum, dance, culture and craft workshops.

Programme

Percussion and Rhythm Workshop

• 40 minutes per class
• General Introduction to the traditional instruments of Africa
• Introduction to how the rhythms are formed
• Each student is given an instrument and the class learns a full traditional rhythm from start to finish!
