Dance workshops for the school year 2013-14 will be facilitated by Tshibo Prince.
Tshibo is originally from The Congo and has been delivering workshops with Wassa Wassa at both Primary & Post Primary levels since early 2013 and feedback from teachers & students has been really wonderful.
African Dance Workshops can take place for just one hour or can be extended to a series of workshops leading towards a final performance.
These workshops are fun, high-energy and a fantastic way to get groups working and laughing together while experiencing new ways to stay fit and active. Students learn about the importance of dance in African culture and how different dances represent different social events.
In the workshops students learn steps, technique, dance moves and arrangements but will also be free to express themselves and find their own unique dance style.
We also offer combined programmes of Rhythm & Dance Workshops with two facilitators alternating classes throughout the school day.
Just contact us for further details or to arrange a unique programme for your school.
